Valley of the Kings is the principle burial site for the rulers of ancient Egypt’s New Kingdom from sixteenth century BC to the eleventh century BC. This map includes the latest discoveries, locating and explaining the more than five dozen tombs.

Side two features a larger scale map of the East Valley and detailed diagrams and statistics of more than two dozen tombs, with text about those buried in each, and with additional text and illustrations of the tomb of Tutankhamen.
